Qualifications

NATSCO holds the following Certificates of Authorization from the Ontario Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA):

  • Fabrication, assembly and erection of power piping in accordance with CSA Standard B51, Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Pressure Piping Code and ASME B31.1 Power Piping
  • Fabrication, assembly and erection of process piping in accordance with CSA Standard B51, Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Pressure Piping Code and ASME B31.3 Process Piping
  • Repair and alteration of boilers, pressure vessels, piping and fittings in accordance with CSA Standard B51, Boiler Pressure Vessel and Pressure Piping Code.
  • NATSCO is also certified with the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) to CSA Standard W47.1 (Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Steel) for the fabrication of structural supports, handrails, stairs and ladders.

History of NATSCO

The companies were founded by Doug Henry, of Aamjiwnaang First Nation, after years of experience as a Piping Engineering/Field Specialist.  Doug wanted to provided clients with a higher level of quality for better value in their projects.  He felt he could offer his expertise in a timely, safe and cost efficient way and so NATSCO Ltd. was formed.

Then Doug had the foresight to see that by uniting his background with the expertise of a Fabrication Specialist would provide the client with an excellent product.  And so, the vision became a reality and NATSCO Mechanical Contractors Inc. was developed.

Doug brought into the company Alan Cadieux as his General Manager to oversee NATSCO Mechanical Contractors Inc.  Alan brings with his over 30 years of international experience in the fabrication industry.

Although the Companies are young, NATSCO Mechanical Contractors Inc. and NATSCO Ltd. - Technical Services have over 55 years of experience in leadership, management, fabrication, design, installation and maintenance.

The Companies stands behind a high level of standards that is applied to all projects and business applications.
